Our closure

Why we closed

We made the decision to close Dot Project after careful consideration - whilst we could see social sector organisations were better positioned to support their own needs there is still much work to do.

Our cooperative approach

We set out to do business differently—centering collaboration, transparency, and adaptability. As a female-led nonprofit cooperative, we advocated for alternative business models and ways of working, prioritised people over platforms, and embraced the complexity of systems change.

Our cooperative approach

“Working with Dot Project has been a game changer for SARSAS. Thanks to their supportive, mentoring approach our team feel more capable and competent in our digital work. We have developed new digital services in a way that fully engages our clients/users and that are now making a significant difference in people’s lives. If you told me 18months ago that we would be busy developing prototypes and undertaking user testing of digital services I wouldn’t have believed you, but we are and its great!”
