Funders
We strive to help funders scale their impact
We believe building digital resilience is vital to the charity sector’s ability to engage with change, to embrace technologies and to deliver sustained collective impact.
For the last 7 years we have held a unique role as both a grantee and advisory partner; helping funders to develop their confidence in funding digital infrastructure, whilst simultaneously acting as a bridge between the funding strategy and the digital priorities of grantees.
We define an organisation’s digital resilience as:
Their ability to engage with change, to withstand disruptions, using digital technologies to maintain operations, as well as to prepare for and take advantage of new conditions.
Funding for digital resilience
We support funders to design and deliver digital funding programmes which create long term change and impact.
Delivering
We support funders with the delivery of their digital funding programmes by providing bespoke, strategic and high-quality support directly to their grantees. Our extensive network of digital and technology experts means we can deliver support at scale and we have designed iterative learning and feedback processes to assess performance throughout programmes.
Designing
We bring our unique digital expertise and tech & team approach together to support funders with the design of their digital funding programmes. We evaluate how their funding is contributing to building digital resilience and review potential applicants, ensuring grantees are well positioned to fundamentally evolve how they approach digital.
Okta’s Digital Strategy Accelerator Programme
Dot Project partnered with Okta and Charity Digital to co-design and deliver a 9-month Digital Strategy Accelerator programme supporting UK charities.
The programme was designed to support charities with their digital strategy, giving them the time and focus to build their digital resilience.
Dot Project then delivered practical mentorship, tools, reviews and peer support to help grantees develop a strategy which is understood and approved by all key stakeholders, including their team, board and trustees.
The teams on this programme all built the necessary foundations to execute a thoughtful and sustainable approach to digital.
Work with us
We are looking for brave, imaginative and innovative funders to take on the challenge of supporting charity teams through longer programmes of meaningful and sustainable digital change.
